A False Alarm

Ah that's better. I'm  a little swollen today and a little more tired than normal. Daddy said it was because my lady times are here again it was a false alarm a few weeks ago. I remembered what worked for me last time, sitting on the cool grass, the wind cooling me down as I plan a way to get up that tree at the bottom of the garden to place chase with the Squirrels!

Oh humph. When I woke up this morning I thought my Daddy would be here but he wasn't and then I remembered Puppynap said he wouldn't be back until later on today. 

Oh what am I to do?

I think we all missed him because we all went to sleep all of the afternoon and then all of a sudden I heard a car and I knew I just knew...

...it was my Daddy, he had come home to see me. I was very, very happy and he gave me loads of cuddles and strokes and things. Ahhhhh!

I'm Sure He Will Hear Me

It's not fair, I wanted my Daddy to be here to play with me but Puppynap said he had to go away for work but it would be OK he would be back tomorrow and spend all of the time playing with me and that he was probably missing me more than I was him.

I don't think that's possible, if I call out loud enough I'm sure he will hear me and come running no matter what David says.

I was just out in the garden when Puppynap called to me to come and help him.

Oh you're painting again. OK then I'll supervise, do that bit over their first.

Oh it went on and on and I got very bored being the supervisor.

It wasn't but it was in the end and Puppynap said we could play whatever I wanted for being such a big help.

National Puppy Day

Puppynap came down just now and said what on earth was I doing down stairs on the chair on my own...

...it's National Puppy Day and he wants me with him!

*Giggles* I want to be with him too, don't let this face fool you, I'm feeling rather mischievous!

I'll Have The Last Laugh

Puppynap think's he's being very funny putting doggie on top of me when I'm trying to get some sleep. I'll have the last laugh at 2am tomorrow morning.

2 Hours Later

Daddy and Puppynap said come on River we're going out to take you to the lakes but we're just going to pop in to see Auntie Silver for 10 minutes first.

Well we've been outside the door for 10 minutes already!

When we went in I could smell Rosie the cat but I couldn't see her. Where are you Rosie?

There you are!

Puppynap then said I should leave alone to have a little sleep but I could have an explore if I wanted just while everyone chatted. 

2 Hours later we made it over to the park and the lake.

We went to see the Swans. They were very pleased to see me and they wanted to follow us around to see what we could see but Puppynap said we had to move a bit quicker when they started to follow us.

OK then, but can the ducks come?

Apparently they weren't allowed either we had to leave them the other side of the bridge.

Hang on a second what's going on over there?

Come on this needs investigating.

Oh it's some frog men!

We watched them for a little bit and then an old man singing came near and Daddy and Puppynap gave each other some very strange looks put their heads down and laughed.

I wasn't sure what they found so funny I thought it was a lovely song and said so to the ducks.

This was a brilliant walk but it's freezing cold and my ears are frozen, I think it's time to go home now but thanks for a great day out.

I'm being a very good girl today and keeping David company while he looks for that fly that he's been chasing all week. Well at least I think that's what we're doing, it doesn't matter though it's just fun hanging out together. I love my David-Shiro.

International Day Of Happiness

I got so bored waiting down the stairs for Puppynap that I came up and did a little bark outside of his office. He must have been very pleased to hear me as he opened the door straight away and even though he was on the phone he cuddled me up tight in his arms and sat me on his lap.

When he got off the phone he said he was very happy to see me and that today was an International Day of Happiness.

Brilliant, but I'll be more happy when he's finished for the day and takes me out for a walk and a play. Come on, hurry up with all that work!

Eclipse Magic

It' getting very dark already. It didn't feel like I'd been up long enough for it to be nighttime again and so I settled down to get some sleep then Puppynap came down and said it wasn't nighttime yet it was a special thing happening called an Eclipse where the moon dances with the sun.

Wow!

Even more brilliant, Puppynap said an Eclipse brings with it magic and it was going to sprinkle itself all over us all.

BRILLIANT, I can't wait. Sprinkle your MAGIC!

I've Made It Nice And Warm For You

I've been cuddled up on Puppynaps legs on the stool all evening while he watched the wedding on TV of people called Scott and Charlene. I wasn't interested even though he kept on going all ahhh, he remembered it so well the first time around, brought back memories he said, I've got plenty of those as well although not from 30 years ago.

The best bit was when he got up to go to the bathroom and I jumped right into his seat. He'd made it lovely and warm for me, thanks Puppynap, cosy. You can sit on my stool if you like, I've made it nice and warm for you.

It's Not Too Much To Ask

Oh I'm so fed up. Puppynap is in the kitchen doing things and he says I'm not allowed out there and David is up the stairs and says he wants to be alone. I only want someone to play with Felix with me, it's not too much to ask, is it?

For A Very Long Time

I wondered what I was going to do today.

I wondered a lot, I just couldn't make my mind up.

Then I heard a beep, beep and ran to the window to see who had come to see me.

Oh my goodness me, it's The Elf, she's come to see me for her mummy day treat.

And I expect to give me a treat as well!

Where is it, I can see your hands but I can't see no treat.
