A Giant Fly

I was just sitting with Puppynap waiting for my Daddy to come home from work when all of a sudden there was this big noise coming from the sky.

I didn't know what to do, it wasn't scary like fireworks or thunder but it made the same big loud kind of noise.

Puppynap looked out of the window and said come on River, I think it's a giant fly in the sky.

Silly man that's not a fly that's a helicopter!

Daddies Sock & Daddy

I'm having the best night tonight. First of all steak for dinner, mine and a little bit from David's bowl, and now playing tug with Daddies sock and Daddy. BRILLIANT night!

Puppynap is working upstairs today and as much as I've tried to settle myself on his lap I just couldn't find a comfy spot. So I've taken myself back of to bed to wait for him, I can hear him very easily from here, I just hope he's not too much longer, he's got playing he needs to do with me!

One Of Two Things

I saw Puppynap put his shoes on and that can only mean one of two things, he's going out, or we're going out.

We were going out!

We went in the car and it was raining really hard but I was a brave girl and sat next to Puppynap really still and really good and then when we got there Daddy and Puppynap's friend S was there to meet me and give me a great big cuddle. 

We went for a little walk, well carry by Puppynap as it was still raining and he said he didn't want me to get wet.

We went to a pub and I had chips and a little sleep but then I needed to get to the bathroom but they didn't get the hint for ages, even when I walked around and around saying come on.

Finally they got it and we went for a walk in the park, there was lots of pigeons there but i didn't chase them.

When we got home I told Daddy and David all about my adventure.

I think David was jealous, he didn't stick around for long to hear the end of my story.

Oh!

Reassured, Yes! Passed!

The plug in thing that Daddy brought me to make me not worried when it thunders has just had it's first test. Getting caught out in the back garden during a heavy rainstorm - reassured, yes! Passed!

My Day In The Garden

Wait For A Surprise

Puppynap said I should sit in the window and wait for a surprise. Wow a surprise, David likes a surprise too so he waited for me.

At The End Of The Day

At the end of the day there's nothing better than cuddling up with my bestest ever friend my Daddy, and of course giving him a kiss on the end of his nose.

A Great Big Hole

I've been helping Puppynap dig a great big hole in the garden. It's really fun, what happens is Puppynap does the big part of the digging and I help him move it all around the garden.

David is supervising today from high above. He's missing out on all the fun but I suppose I can't always be expected to oversee things. It's good to share the responsibility!

An Adventure Playground

Ooh and what do we have here then?

A whole bunch of stones is it? I wonder what these are for?

Now what's he up to? I think he must be building me an adventure playground!

I'll just wait here until he's finished, then I'll give it all a go, so considerate of Daddy to get me all these things to play with in the garden.

After All The Excitement Of Yesterday

I'm so tired after all the excitement yesterday of having lots of my friends coming to see me that I just can't keep my eyes open. Bit of luck Daddy is tired too, it means another duvet day on the sofa. Ahhh!

Sitting Up The Top Of The Garden

I was a very good girl, waiting patiently with my Daddy for my friends to arrive, Daddy said there was going to be a special little person coming to see me. Ooh.

It was a little baby. He was very cute and we played together in the garden and then Daddies other friend CC came. We've played together before, he's such fun.

I went to get David to get him to join in the fun but he said he was fine where he was, sitting up the top of the garden by the Swinging Heart of Love. That was a shame he missed out on so much fun today. Still we can have our own fun tomorrow in the garden, if it's nice and sunny that is, I'm keeping away from that thunder stuff.

Not Bothered

...hurry up. Daddy and Puppynap have got lots of food for us. I can tell, I can see and hear them in the kitchen getting things ready.

Surf's Up

I love it when Daddy has a late night because it means the next day the duvet comes down on the sofa and we get to cuddle up and watch a movie together.

Tonight we are all watching surfing penguins. I bet I would be great at that, once I've got my balance right that is, and with Daddy holding onto me of course.
