I was all settled down when Puppynap said come on River we're going on an afternoon adventure.
Today we went down the road.
And through the tunnel. Careful to walk on the side to avoid all the rubbish people have left around.
*Sniff, sniff*
I could smell something very strange had been here.
Come on this way.
No what I smelt wasn't the chips in the old chip packet. Don't people leave a big mess everywhere?
And then I realised what it was that I could smell.
A RABBIT!
We went running after it to see if we could find it to play with...
...but he as gone. But we did find him home. I tried t go down it but Puppynap pulled me back out. I love rabbit holes.
We then went all the way to the top of the hill.
Where we met a lovely old man and his dog. The man said his dog was retired now, he used to be a guide dog and was 10 years old but a couple of years ago a few other dogs picked on him and he lost all his confidence. He let Puppynap give him a big stroke but he got very nervous when I kissed him.
We then crossed the big road to the doggies playground. Puppynap said we weren't going to go in there today. I tried to make him feel guilty by stopping and looking at all the doggies playing but he was having none of it.
We walked all the way around the doggies playground and then over a really high bridge. It made Puppynap go a bit dizzy and we got off the bridge quick.
But not before I had a look at all the traffic.
On the other side of the bridge was a lot of houses and the school Puppynap went to when he was a little boy and then all of a sudden I saw the big road again and then I saw something very strange.
A man on a ladder trying to climb on a roof. Silly man!
